yesterday i wen to gyeongju(경주) province wit kine....it was very cold over there....even i wear 2 layers and a jacket, i still feel d cold wind....my hand r freezing....i think when u cut out my hand i still can't feel d pain.....
our first destination there at gyeongju was d famous Bulguksa Temple....here r a short brief of d temple...
"Originally built in 528, Bulguk-sa provides an excellent example of architecture from the Shilla Dynasty. Literally meaning "Buddha Land," it remained intact for more than 1,000 years before the Japanese destroyed it in 1593...."
after tat temple....we wen to Seokguram Grotto tat located nesr Bulguksa Temple...erm near...actually not tat near....its 20 minutes from d Bulguksa Temple....haha n d road was so narrow....wow....wanna faint...keke.....
"Seokguram Grotto was one of the world finest shrines of Buddha. Seokguram Grotto contains a monumental statue of the Buddha looking at the sea in the bhumisparsha mudra position. With the surrounding portrayals of gods, Bodhisattvas and disciples, all realistically and delicately sculpted in high and low relief, it is considered a masterpiece of Buddhist art in the Far East...."here are d pic of d buddha....

after tis we wen to d east sea 2 c d rock of King Mummu....
"King Mummu, the 30th king of the Silla dynasty achieved unification of the countries of the Korean peninsular in AD 668 and upon his death desired to become a dragon to protect his kingdom from enemies. Thus he was buried under a great rock in the East Sea and became a guardian dragon. However his rock is up the coast somewhat in Gyeongju but his queen is right here in Ulsan. She became Daewangam rock.this is d place...
When she died she also decided to become a guardian dragon because she could not forget his noble deed of her husband. It is said seaweed does not grow around this rock because of the dragon...."
